Meet the Founder – Melinda Fayette

From Family Business to Financial Expert

Growing up on a farm in Upstate New York, I saw firsthand how important small businesses are to a community. My family ran a tractor repair and restoration business, supporting local farmers and helping them keep their operations running.

By my early teen years, I was already learning the essentials of bookkeeping—handling accounts payable and receivable using Intuit QuickBooks in my family’s office.

When I went to college, I took on my first office job outside my family’s business, gaining even more hands-on accounting experience.

Over the years, I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes, from small startups to corporations with over $1 billion in assets. My background includes both private and public accounting, giving me a well-rounded perspective on financial management, compliance, and efficiency.

After moving around the country with my husband, Matt, I’m now proud to call the Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick & Richland, WA) home. While I serve local businesses in Eastern Washington, I also provide bookkeeping services to clients nationwide.
